Penelope Cruz looked as if she was gliding down the Red Carpet at last night’s events in her ethereal Giorgio Armani gown. The soft organza provided for a generous train, full skirt and fitted bodice. Her hair was reminiscent of the late Princess of Monaco, the eternally elegant Grace Kelly. I do think it aged her slightly, but the entire look was beautiful, feminine and classic.
For her gorgeous complexion, celebrity makeup artist Matthew VanLeeuwen used a lineup of Lancome products. To begin with, he used Lancome’s La Base Pro Primer and layered Lancome’s Teint Idole Ultra Foundation on top of it. To warm up Penelope’s face and give it some dimension, VanLeeuwen used Lancome’s Star Bronzer on her cheeks and temples. On the apples of her cheeks Penelope wore Lancome Blush Subtil in Rose Romantique.
On her eyes, VanLeeuwen used Lancome’s Color Design 5 Pan Palette in Gris Fatale. He lined them with Le Crayon Khôl EyeLiner in Black Lapis, and brushed Ôscillation Powermascara in Black through her top and bottom lashes.
