Oscars 2012- Michelle Williams

One of the films I was most excited for this year that I have yet to see is “My Week with Marilyn,” starring the flawless Michelle Williams. She is said to have played the iconic Marilyn Monroe beautifully, and it appeared she was channeling her style this evening.

Michelle walked the Red Carpet in shoes by Christian Louboutin and a tiered floor-length gown by Louis Vuitton while carrying a Bottega Venetta clutch. The diamond bow embellishment at her waist was designed by Fred Leighton.

Her complexion was youthful and fresh, which it is naturally. To enhance her lovely skin, celebrity makeup artist Angel Levin applied Chanel’s Vitalumiere Aqua compact foundation, which will be available in Nordstrom stores on March 19th. For contour, Michelle wore Chanel’s Natural Finish Pressed Powder in “Jasmin,” a perfect shade for her porcelain complexion.

To bring out Michelle’s eyes, Levin used the Chanel “Mystic Eyes” Quadra eye shadow palette, along with Chanel’s eyebrow pencil in “Blonde Clair” to fill in her brows and frame her face. To finish off the eyes, her lashes were coated with Chanel’s Inimitable mascara in Noir.

For the finishing touch, two colors were mixed to give Michelle’s lips the perfect hue. A combination of Chanel’s Rouge Coco Hydrating Lip Colour in Paradis and Destineé was applied to give her the perfect pout.
